Oscar was born on May 26th, 2019.
Oscar's DNA test revealed that he is 36% American Pit Bull Terrier, 33%
American Staffordshire Terrier, 23% American Bulldog, 7% Bulldog, and 1% Bullmastiff. View his Wisdom Panel Results for more information!
Oscar was in boarding while his owner was overseas on business and was abandoned when his owner never returned. The home where he was boarding was being sold and the local shelters were at capacity so euthanasia is what was offered. We stepped in to prevent this from happening and Oscar became part of the Misfit Family in May of 2024. He has been provided medical care, some much needed love, and has started basic training.
Oscar is in good health and up to date on vaccinations. He was chipped and neutered in July of 2024. His latest weigh in was 95 lbs.
Oscar is house trained, crate trained and is learning basic obedience.
He knows sit and down and is working on his leash manners.
Despite being abandoned by the only human he knew, Oscar's loving personality never skipped a beat and he is the happiest of boys. He loves to play ball, tug, get belly rubs, go for a walk and also just cuddle on the couch.

Oscar is wonderful with children and all people we've introduced him to. He is friendly and playful with most dogs he has met but a meet and greet would be required if you have other dogs in your home to ensure they are a good fit for each other.
