During Ember's rehabilitation, we anticipated that she would be prepared for her new home by the first week of April. However, with tomorrow being April 1st, we find ourselves slightly behind schedule. This delay is for a very good reason and prioritizes her health.

The day before Ember's appointment to be medically cleared for spay (which is required prior to adoption), she started her first heat cycle. While we could have moved forward with spay, allowing her to complete a cycle and waiting two months for spay is a great benefit to both bone and joint health.
With her history of traumatic injury to both her spine and shoulder, this could not have come at a better time. Although her forever family will have to wait a bit longer than expected to welcome her home, we fully believe things happen for a reason and that this sweet princess is worth the wait!

The new timeline is that she will be scheduled for spay early/mid May and will be available for adoption once her two week recovery is complete.
If you are interested in meeting Ember or would like to be notified when she is available for adoption, be sure to reach out. We'd be happy to schedule a meet-and-greet and/or let you know when she's ready!
